Victim of drug-fuelled knife thug tells how she was left with devastating injuries after a slasher film-style attack in woods
THE brave victim of a crazed knife thug has told of her trauma after being left with devastating injuries.
Ocean Richardson was just 20 when drugged-up Martyn Logan stabbed her in pitch-black woods, fracturing her eye socket and knifing her multiple times.
Logan, 32, left her to die in the darkness but her friend managed to carry her to a house before she collapsed in the hall, soaked in blood.
The attack happened on a dark country road in the Borders just before lockdown in 2020.
Knitwear worker Ocean told how the horrific scenes unfolded after she and pal Max Yates, then 19, agreed to give dad-of-three Logan a lift to his mum's house.
She told the Record: "Martyn was a family friend, so when he asked for a lift I didn't see a problem.
"I knew he was taking loads of steroids but he seemed all right that day.
"But during the drive, he asked we could stop at the woods so he could pick up some sort of stash and he asked Max to go with him."
Ocean said she had been waiting in the car for around 20 minutes when Max reappeared, covered in blood.
