MARTIN Compston has been banned from playing at this year's Soccer Aid by bosses on TV show The Rig in case he gets injured.
The actor has turned out for the World XI team in the charity match for the last four years and was desperate to lace up his boots again.
However, he starts filming the second series of Amazon thriller The Rig the day after this year's game on June 11.
