Masked Singer judge Maya: It is harder than it looks

IT might seem easy guessing celeb singers from your sofa but new judge Maya Jama insists The Masked Singer is a billion times harder than she thought.

Love Island host Maya joins Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan as a judge on the ITV show as they try to guess which celebrities are behind outlandish disguises.

Maya, 30, who is replacing singer Rita Ora this series, said: "When you watch it at home on TV you think, 'oh, easy'.

"But actually being in the studio, taking in every single clue, sometimes the clues have nothing to do with the obvious. It's really challenging!"

Maya said of filming: "I've found it really fun. I never know what's going to happen each day, it's been such a laugh.
