Tributes for tractor crash victim

HEARTBROKEN friends shared their grief yesterday for a nine-year-old girl who was killed by a tractor while riding her bike.

The victim, named locally as Naomi Ferrans, died at the scene in New Cumnock, Ayrshire, after being struck by the vehicle, which was towing a trailer.

Laura Ferrans, believed to be a relative, paid tribute following the tragedy by changing her Facebook profile photo to an image with the youngster.

Friends added messages of support. One person wrote: "I'm absolutely heartbroken. Naomi was one of a kind, anyone who knew her knows of her little cheeky personality, no matter where she was, she brought smiles to people's faces. May you rest in peace little angel."
