Duncan: I'll use tough night against class act Sadiq as inspiration for season

ABERDEEN kid Ryan Duncan admits he was taught a lesson from Europa League star Ibrahim Sadiq as the Dons were dumped out of Europe.

But he's convinced he will use it inspiration to kick on for club and country this season.

The 19-year-old midfielder is set to line up for Scotland Under-21s in Monday's opening Euro 2025 qualifier against Spain in Jaen.

Although Aberdeen have endured a disappointing start to their campaign after collecting just one solitary victory all season against Stirling Albion in the Viaplay Cup, and were eliminated from the Europa League after a Pittodrie defeat to BK Hacken, Duncan can personally be pleased at his efforts.
