Furious holidaymakers are faced with huge check-in queues while trying to get away for summer

PASSENGERS at Glasgow Airport were left waiting in huge queues to check in for summer holiday flights yesterday morning.

Disgruntled holidaymakers say they were left standing for hours in queues from the main terminal building snaking out into the car park.

Kevin, of Newton Mearns, near Glasgow, who was due to fly with British Airways to London at 6.30am, almost missed his flight.

He told the Record: "We arrived at 5.10am and as soon as we got to the terminal there was a queue of around 700 people which ended in the car park.
