A DEPRAVED priest caught molesting a sleeping man on a train has been jailed.
Father Daniel Doherty was spotted sexually abusing the victim by fellow passengers during the service to Edinburgh Waverley.
Witnesses contacted police and rail staff to report what they had seen, before moving carriages.
Train managers raced to the incident and questioned the former priest at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Falkirk, who claimed "we are just friends" and that he had been "affirming the victim.
The witnesses noticed that the 61-year-old's trouser button was undone, his belt was secured, and his trouser zip was halfway undone.
