Pirates of the Caribbean star killed in surf shark attack

A SURFING legend who appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean has been killed by a shark off Hawaii.

Tamayo Perry, 49, was found with an arm and leg missing by locals who were on a beach. He was brought to shore by paramedics on a jetski but pronounced dead at the scene.

The Hawaii native had been taking a break from lifeguard duties on Oahu to go surfing near Goat Island on Sunday.
