POUNDLAND is selling homes for the first time although they will set you back an awful lot more than the usual £1.
The bargain chain's branch on Elgin High Street in Moray is the only store the firm owns outright, and it put four flats above the shop on the market yesterday.
It is a first for the firm which bought the shop in 2019, although the building dates to 1856 when it opened as an RBS branch.
