MILLY'S MUM WANTS BOSSES AXED
THE mum of 10-year-old Milly Main, who died after contracting an infection at a hospital, has called for the leaders of Scotland's biggest health board to be sacked.
The call comes after Police Scotland named NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a formal suspect in a corporate homicide case involving the deaths of Milly and three others.
Yesterday, her mother Kimberley Darroch joined Labour leader Anas Sarwar, who has campaigned on behalf of the families, to demand the removal of chief executive Jane Grant and others at the top of the health board.
She said: "I don't think you should be able to do the job you're doing with this investigation ongoing. I think the Government should step in and either suspend or sack them.
"I've never been able to celebrate Milly's life like I should be. Anytime I think of Milly I think of all of the pain that day caused and continues to cause.
