CHRISTMAS movies are a staple of the festive season and Lindsay Lohan looks set to take the crown as the queen of them.
The 38-year-old Mean Girls star, who admits she loves the season, is starring in her latest festive flick, Our Little Secret, which is getting rave reviews.
The feel-good romcom follows on from Falling for Christmas in 2022 which was a well-received offering from the Freaky Friday actress.
And the mum of one, who lives in Dubai, said she adores making Christmas films for two reasons.
She said: "I do love Christmas and I love making movies, so it kind of makes sense. It all depends on the script. If I love the script, I want to make the movie, whether it's set at Christmas or not. But I do love making movies that families can get together and maybe enjoy at this time of year. It's special."
Our Little Secret on Netflix is her second Christmas film for the streaming channel and follows her character Avery, who is spending Christmas with her boyfriend's parents only to find her ex is also there for the holidays.
Avery also has to contend with her potential mother in law being less than impressed by her favourite son's partner. Lindsay, who is married to financier Bader Shammas and has a baby boy Luai, said: "This has definitely got a kind of Meet the Parents vibe. It's so funny and I got to be part of such a great ensemble cast. It just felt perfect from the very beginning".
She stars opposite Ian Harding and Kristin Chenoweth. Explaining the plotline Lindsay said: "Little does she know that her significant ex is also there under the same roof because he is dating one of the boyfriend's sisters.
