AN ex-soldier who murdered his daughter's boyfriend was jailed for at least 17-and-a-half years yesterday.
Daniel Langman strangled Tony Collins, 28, during a horror attack at his flat in Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire.
The 48-year-old later claimed he "lost control" after finding his home a mess before confessing to his mother he had done "something stupid".
Langman, who had previous convictions for weapons and violence, was jailed for life having been convicted of murder last month.
