STUART MCKINSTRY was playing in the Premier League and enjoying the status of being a Bielsa babe just two seasons ago.

The 2024-25 campaign has kicked off and the talented 21-year-old is still without a a new club.

He lived a dream by playing for Leeds United under the legendary Marcelo Bielsa in England's elite and then returned to play first-team football with his boyhood heroes Motherwell.

He left Elland Road last summer and went to Queen's Park but after rejecting an initial extension he has been left waiting to see who will give him the next chance.

"I played in the Carabao Cup against Fulham and it was just after I had turned 19," McKinstry said.

"It went to a shoot-out and I ended up hitting the penalty that won it. I made my Premier League debut against Tottenham.
