SCOTLAND was hit by a June snow storm as the country was warned to brace for chilly weather.
People in the north woke up yesterday morning to fields and roads covered in the white stuff.
The wintry weather comes after a scorching weekend when Scotland claimed three of the UK's top five hottest spots on Saturday and Edinburgh basked in 22C heat.
Visitors to the Cairngorm Mountain Resort near Aviemore yesterday were kitted out for snow.
