Opening game prices 'outrageous' and 'indefensible', says supporters' spokesman

THE Tartan Army have branded ticket prices for Scotland’s Euro 2024 opening tie against Germany “indefensible”.

And with some official prices as part of Scotland’s 10,000-seat allocation topping £500, most travelling fans will have to dig deep to see their heroes in action.

Last night, West of Scotland Tartan Army spokesman Hamish Husband said: “The elation of being picked for the first game of the Euros is rapidly turning into a horror show.

“These prices are as outrageous as they are indefensible. The opening game in Munich is turning into a nightmare for the ordinary Scotland fan.

“It’s already going to be expensive going to Germany in the summer, through exorbitant flight costs being charged by airlines. This ticket price could make things impossible for some.”
