CHRISTINE McGuinness says that throughout her painful divorce from TV presenter Paddy her mum has been her rock.

The couple called time on their 11-year marriage in July last year, but still live in the same house.

Christine, 35, says she is looking forward to seeing the back of 2023 - but is full of hope for 2024.

The model and TV personality added: "I am going through a difficult divorce, things are hard.

"But I will always continue to smile and the reason is because I am my mother's daughter, she has instilled that in me.

"She has been my rock and is a huge inspiration... My mum has always been my biggest supporter.

Christine and Top Gear co-host Paddy have three children - Felicity, seven, and 10-year-old twins Penelope and Leo.
