JACOB FEARNLEY admits words of wisdom from Andy Murray were crucial in wowing Centre Court and frustrating Novak Djokovic.
The Edinburgh boy capped his dream debut week by pushing the seven-time SW19 champion in a high-quality second-round defeat a few hours before Murray made an emotional appearance on the same grass.
While Fearnley bowed out after a 6-3 6-4 5-7 7-5 loss, the 22-year-old made the most of the occasion with 42 winners to give the punters plenty to lap up.
The 22-year-old said: "I haven't spoken to Andy but I know he said some words to Mark Hilton, who is working with Andy and he is working quite closely with me.
