SCOTLAND "Bikeland" has been rebranded as as we get set to host the biggest global cycling event in the history of the sport.
Organisers say the UCI Cycling World Championships, being staged from August 3 to 13, will put Scotland on TV screens around the globe.
They have announced "Scotland is Bikeland" and the message will be at the heart of the event in a bid to bring a tourism bonanza.
The 2023 UCI event will bring together 13 existing individual cycling world championships in one unprecedented mega event.
UCI 2023 CEO Trudy Lindblade yesterday joined a "peloton" riding through areas that will host events.
