Shannon: My SAS lie over injury agony

SHANNON Courtenay lied about a crippling knee injury when she signed up for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The boxing champ, 29, was secretly in agony but hid it from producers so she wouldn’t be axed.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I had a ruptured ligament in my knee before I went into the show and I didn’t tell producers about it.

“I knew if I did, I wouldn’t be allowed to take part. So I just told them I had a little niggle in my knee.”
