VIRGIL VAN DIJK says he will spend the rest of the summer thinking about his future for club and country.
The Liverpool defender has just one year left on his Anfield contract and at the age of 33 could be tempted to call time on his international career after Holland's Euros 2024 exit to England.
There are suggestions in his homeland that Van Dijk may be a target for Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq and the chance to earn a fortune in the Saudi Pro League would be a tempting one.
Losing the classy centre-back would be a huge blow for new Reds boss Arne Slot (right).
