JOHN BATEMAN is aiming to help Warrington to a maiden Grand Final win after joining until the end of the season.
The uncompromising England forward has fallen out of favour at NRL club Wests Tigers and decided to return to Super League.
Sam Burgess' Wolves are top of the table and 30-year-old Bateman was attracted by the lure of helping them to become champions for the first time since 1955.
Bateman, who will make his debut in Friday's home clash with secondplaced Hull KR, said: "I know Sam and quite a few of the boys here.
