TOM BRISCOE admits it’s “surreal” being back at Hull 11 years after leaving.
But as crazy as it seems after last week’s shock move from Leigh, the ex-England winger is now ready to get down to business.
Still recovering from the calf injury that had sidelined him since March 1, he was not risked in Sunday’s 18-12 loss against another former club Leeds.
But Briscoe will pull on the black and white again at Warrington on Friday as the ailing club, with one Super League win and searching for a new head coach, bid to kickstart their season.
He said: “I’m all good to go. I’ve just had a tough session this morning to make sure I’m ready. We could have pushed it to play Sunday but the safest option has to be smart, after coming to a new club.
