GARETH SOUTHGATE is hoping a blast of 'Bazball' can inspire England to become kings of Europe this summer.
Southgate invited England cricket legend Ben Stokes to give a talk to his squad at their training base in Middlesbrough.
Stokes has helped Brendon McCullum's Test side become one of the best in the world after introducing ultra-aggressive tactics to games.
The all-rounder has also played a huge role in helping England win both the World Cup and World T20 title since 2019.
Now Southgate is hoping that the winning mentality Stokes has shown to win cricket's biggest prizes will rub off on some of his own stars at Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.
England take on Bosnia and Herzegovina at St James' Park tonight in the first of two warm-up games before boarding the plane to Germany.
