WHY am I the only one working to keep our relationship on track?
I accept that my girl has an important job and a great future ahead of her but I'm sick of being her personal chauffeur, cook and bottle washer.
Any time she goes out drinking with colleagues or clients, I'm summonsed to pick her up, whatever the hour. Does she say "thank you"? Does she heck.
Whenever we argue, I back down and apologise.
But I'm the one tidying up, preparing the food and keeping our home clean and habitable.
If she isn't sprawled on the sofa, she's in the bath or in bed.
It's even up to me to pay the bills and I've had enough.
I fancy and love her as much as ever but never imagined we'd end up living this unequal life.
