TWO-MILE champion chaser Energumene was given an almighty fright by Chacun Pour Soi at the Punchestown Festival yesterday.
In a one-two for Willie Mullins, the 2-7 market leader had to dig deep to reel in his stablemate for the William Hill Champion Chase prize.
The pair filled the same positions 12 months earlier, in a Grade One Chacun Pour Soi has on his record from 2021.
But his recent form had taken a nosedive - and punters set him off at 20-1 in the five runner field.
