DAVID RAYA has told Arsenal fans to get used to "scary" football - because he is under orders from Mikel Arteta.
Gunners supporters have been getting increasingly nervous about Raya playing out from the back.
Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez nearly deflected the ball into the net when he closed down Raya during the top-of-the-table clash at the Emirates.
But the Arsenal keeper insists that it is Arteta who has told him to keep it even longer to invite opponents onto him.
Raya said in an interview with The Athletic: "It's something I have internalised, but it's also the coach's orders.
"What he doesn't want is for us to start hitting balls - we have to invite a player to come out a little bit.
