JOS BUTTLER will blaze back into the England spotlight with a smile on his face and a "million runs".
That's according to Marcus Trescothick, the man keeping the white-ball seat warm until Brendon McCullum starts his head coach role.
Buttler is itching to get back into international action with bat and gloves, having been forced to sit out The Hundred and then the T20s and ODIS against Australia.
Harry Brook stepped in to do a fairly successful job as skipper in his place, with the team drawing the T20 series before being edged out 3-2 in the ODIs.
