JOHN STONES admits he has got into the habit of writing comical messages on Erling Haaland's balls this season.

Haaland plundered his fifth treble of the season as he scored five to help City hammer RB Leipzig 7-0 on Tuesday night and cruise into the Champions League quarter-finals.

And Stones admits Haaland is so good he will write many more messages on the striker's hat-trick mementos.
