RYAN BRIERLEY has stressed the importance of keeping coach Paul Rowley as Salford face the club who want to poach him.
Play-off rivals Leeds are known to be firm admirers of Rowley as they continue their search for a permanent successor to Rohan Smith.
Yet Rowley appears increasingly likely to snub the Rhinos’ advances and stay put – just as he did when Hull FC came calling earlier this season.
Full-back Brierley, who also played under Rowley at Leigh and Toronto, said: “Regardless of any interest in him, I cannot stress how important Paul Rowley is to Salford.
“I said it two years ago when they made him head coach – he will be the most important signing that Salford ever made.
