The Tottenham boss was invited to Wyndham's Theatre in London by famous Spurs fan Sir Kenneth Branagh, who was playing the lead role in the Shakespearean tragedy.
But Postecoglou would settle for a less suspenseful evening when his high-flying side take on struggling Chelsea today.
He said: "Yeah, there was a fair bit going on in that play, mate! I definitely want a better ending than Sir Kenneth had, for sure!
"Sir Kenneth is a big Spurs fan and was kind enough to invite my wife and I to the theatre the other night. We don't get too many nights away from the kids and adult time so we enjoyed it.
