FEYENOORD NO APPROACH BOSS KEEN ON MOVE... BUT HIS CLUB SAYS HAS BEEN MADE AND EXPECTS HIM TO STAY
ARNE'S READY TO SLOT IN AT TOTTENHAM

ARNE SLOT is open to becoming Tottenham’s new manager. Feyenoord have insisted there has been no approach from Spurs for the 44-year-old, but Slot is understood to be keen on the move.

According to a report in the Netherlands, Slot, who turned down interest from Leeds in January, has already gone as far as to tell his agent he wants to join the north London club.

The Dutchman has emerged as a leading candidate to permanently succeed Antonio Conte, having guided Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title this season with an exciting brand of possession-based, attacking football.

Feyenoord are keen for Slot to extend his contract, which has two years to run, and Dennis te Kloese, their general manager, has said he expects him to stay and insisted they are yet to receive an approach from Spurs.
