Attacker is dead or being shielded believe the police as hunt enters day six

The manhunt for the missing fugitive today entered its sixth day but despite hundreds of hours of CCTV being examined there has been no sighting of him since last Wednesday.

Metropolitan Police officers have been searching for the Afghan refugee since a mother and her two daughters, aged eight and three, were hurt after a corrosive alkaline substance was thrown at them in Clapham that night. The 31-year-old woman, who is known to Ezedi, is still sedated and may lose the sight in her right eye

A £20,000 reward in place for anyone with information leading to Ezedi's arrest. Detectives are now working now on theories the 35-yearold is either receiving protection from an associate or could be dead.
