HANNAH KLUGMAN (Tennis)
Still only 15, there is genuine excitement in tennis about what heights Klugman can reach in the women's game. Aged just 14, she won the Orange Bowl in the United States, a prestigious tournament for Under18s. She was also the youngest person - aged 14 at the time and beating Coco Gauff's record in the process - to qualify for an ITF Women's World Tennis Tour event. She went on to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament in Shrewsbury.
SKY BROWN (Surfing)
This might seem an odd pick, bearing in mind that Brown has already competed at two Olympics and won bronze at both in skateboarding. The 16-year-old had set out on the novel quest to double up at both the skateboarding and surfingfor Team GB in Paris, which would have been some feat. And she is no slouch in the water, coming mightily close to qualifying for the British team. In four years' time, in more familiar waters in Los Angeles, she could shine.
