REBEKAH VARDY admitted she regularly stages paparazzi pictures of herself and arranged for a photographer to be waiting as she left hospital with her newborn son, the High Court heard.
The Wag, 40, was snapped by photo agency Flynet in January 2017, with the Sun story saying she had been “spotted" while leaving Leicester Maternity Hospital with her father.
Vardy told the High Court yesterday she had been instrumental in arranging the picture, wanting to control" news of the birth of her fourth child.
“Absolutely," she replied, when asked if the images were pre-arranged. “I've never hidden the fact I have done staged pictures and in fact I've always owned it. I had some pictures taken of me coming out of the hospital. I wanted to control, to make sure no one got me or a picture of my baby and surprised me.
“I wanted to make sure it was on my time when I wanted to do it."
