Find something you enjoy doing that lifts your mood and make it part of your routine. You could give any of the following a go.
GET PHYSICALLY ACTIVE
Being active is not only good for your physical health, it’s also good for your mind.
It can help you burn off nervous energy and make feelings of distress less intense. Find an activity that’s attainable on a regular basis – it could be anything from gentle online yoga classes to dancing around the house or short walks outside. Use the NHS Active 10 app to help you track and build up daily walks or the NHS Couch to 5K app to get you running 5km in just nine weeks.
