THE FAMILY FEUD between Baba Kalyani, chairman and MD of Bharat Forge, and his sister Sugandha Hiremath has taken a fresh turn with the latter filing a case in the Pune court, seeking a third of the former's family wealth.

She alleges that while Baba Kalyani has implemented parts of the agreements for his benefit, he has not fulfilled all obligations, particularly regarding Hikal shares.

Meanwhile, Jai Hiremath and Sugandha, promoters of Hikal, have disclosed details of family arrangements with the Kalyani family to market regulator Sebi. The Hiremaths have initiated a civil suit in the Bombay High Court, seeking enforcement of obligations under these agreements.
