Two close aides of slain mafioso-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, who were lodged in Kaushambi and Prayagraj district jails, have been shifted to Fatehgarh Central Jail on Wednesday, confirmed senior Prison Administration and Reform Services officials here on Thursday.

LUCKNOW: Two close aides of slain mafioso-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, who were lodged in Kaushambi and Prayagraj district jails, have been shifted to Fatehgarh Central Jail on Wednesday, confirmed senior Prison Administration and Reform Services officials here on Thursday. The transfers, involving both convicted and undertrial prisoners, were carried out on administrative grounds following a government order issued on Tuesday.
