Family of 5 living on Nepal and WB borders mysteriously disappear

KISHANGANJ: A family of five mysteriously disappeared from their house in Bihar's Kishanganj district bordering West Bengal and Nepal, police said.

Police further said that the incident took place on December 3 at Chhattargachh market under Paharkatta police station of the district and since then they are clueless about them.

Reports, though not confirmed by police, say that the family was threatened by a West Bengal gang on December 1.

The family consisted of couple Lakshman Karmkar, 50, and Kusum Devi, 45, and their three children Sankit Karmkar, 25, Sanju Karmkar, 20, and Nandini Karmkar, 18.
