JAMUI: A woman teacher superannuated from service a day before her joining! This happened in Bihar's Jamui where a woman teacher who was asked to join on January 1, 2025 in the school on the post of headmistress retired from service a day before on December 31, 2024.

The woman teacher, identified as Anita Kumari, had cleared the Bihar Sakshmta Pariksha nine months ago and was waiting to join.
