An 18-year-old student, who was to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission in engineering courses this week, died by suicide in Kota district of Rajasthan on Monday, leaving behind a purported note for her parents where she said she cannot attempt the exam, police said on Monday.
The incident, among students preparing for various competitive exams, is the second in the district this year, and came a week after a 19-year-old National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) aspirant died by suicide.
