"We all are in favour of reservation to the Maratha community. It can be accorded only by following the legal procedure and we all are ready to work on it jointly. "We appeal to Manoj Jarange-Patil to cooperate in these efforts and call off his ongoing hunger strike."

Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) patriarch Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders Ambadas Danve and Anil Parab, Sunil Tatkare from Ajit Pawar's faction of NCP, besides leaders from smaller parties such as the MNS and the Janata Dal (United) attended the all-party meet at the Sahyadri guest house in Mumbai.
