Chandigarh scored 324 in reply to Delhi's 276. The highlight of the day was Shivam Bhambri's knock of 80 and his 100-run stand with Manan Vohra (44) and later a 56-run stand with Raj Angad Bawa (33) that helped Chandigarh get past Delhi's first-innings score.
The hosts had lost half their side for 164, but debutant Ayush Sikka (24) and Mayank Sidhu (44) put on a 62-run stand to resurrect Chandigarh. Delhi's Ayush Badoni grabbed four wickets.
