PE teacher’s after-school hobby is continuing to go from strength to strength

MEET the bikini bodybuilder who teaches PE and Irish by day and pumps iron by night. 

Superfit Eva Roche, 24, works at Gaelcholaiste Mhuire AG in Cork city and in her spare time is at the gym training for her next international bodybuilding contest.

She has a clutch of big wins under her belt – she took home two golds in a UK contest last week.

The Cork woman was a sports fanatic growing up, finding her niche with basketball at an early age.

Before leaving to study teaching at University College Cork, Eva thought she had a future of shooting hoops, but soon found her passion.

She said: “I’m someone who likes to be improving, seeing progress and results all the time.
