Hollywood star Guy rejoins Erinsborough pals in screen return

GUY Pearce and Annie Jones headed a cast of fan favourites as Neighbours returned to screens.

The Australian soap has also been joined by The OC's Mischa Barton, playing a glamorous-yet-mysterious new character.

Hollywood star Guy and Annie reprise their roles as Mike Young and Jane Harris after the former flames from its late 80s heyday rekindled their relationship in the "final episodes of the series last July.

Meanwhile, Alan Fletcher is back as Karl Kennedy and Jackie Woodburne as his wife Susan.

Harold Bishop, played by Ian Smith, returns and seems intent on showing newcomer JJ Varga-Murphy, played by Riley Bryant, his book about the history of Ramsay Street.
