Long before Bazball’ took root in Test cricket, Morgan transformed England's white-ball fortunes from feckless to fearless. He stepped down from international cricket last summer, handing his successor as captain, Jos Buttler, a powerful legacy which led to the ICC World Twenty20 title in November.
