THE Health Service Executive has apologised to people who had a bad experience with its child and adolescent mental health services.
It follows a damning review which found that CAMHS was "a failing system that needs a radical overhaul".
CAMHS is a specialist mental health service providing assessment and treatment for the approximately 2% of young people experiencing moderate or severe mental illness up to the age of 18.
