HOLLYWOOD star Ryan Reynolds has been singing James McClean's praises and the Ireland ace wants to replay his faith tonight.
In a Tinseltown script owners Reynolds (inset) and Rob McElhenney would approve of, McClean could make his Wrexham debut against the club he just left, Wigan Athletic.
McClean is not a footballer who will ever fly under the radar or evade the media glare and terrace taunts.
But any suggestion he could be out of sight, out of mind by dropping into League Two have been debunked - for now at least with this novel cup pairing.
Sky Sports will be in attendance at the Racecourse Ground to give the fixture the full bells and whistles treatment as its live TV game of choice.
And having sat out Saturday's opening League Two 5-3 defeat to MK Dons, McClean is in line to make his debut following his £200,000 move on a two-year deal last week.
While eager to make a quick impression for his new and famous - employers, McClean won't take any joy putting the boot into the Latics having enjoyed two spells there.
