STAN MOODY hopes a journey that started in the Canaries will take him to the Crucible this month.
The 16-year-old from Halifax is England’s brightest snooker prospect and kicks off his bid to make it to the iconic Sheffield theatre in a first World Championship qualifier today.
Moody should have been taking GCSEs this year, but his former school Ryburn Valley High, in Sowerby Bridge have always supported his snooker dream. Although not as much as dad Nigel.
