LUCY QUINN wants Ireland to finish their World Cup on the crest of a wave and avoid a Group B wipeout.
The Birmingham midfielder is a keen surfer and even managed to squeeze in some time on the board while Down Under.
She spent one of her days off in Surfers Paradise, 80km south of Ireland's Brisbane base.
"Obviously we've gone and done a bit of sight-seeing. I went for a little surf at Surfers Paradise and stuff like that," she said.
"There were a few wipeouts which was really entertaining for the girls. It was just a good day."
But now it's time to get her game face on again.
Quinn has featured in both games so far coming off the bench against Australia and then starting against Canada - with her high energy and direct style giving some top class defenders big headaches.
