One month's rent at the Keane's five-bed property cost €9,200
- Judge orders woman out of Keanes' €4.4m mansion
- Pair told to pay €340k rent arrears and €81k costs
SOCCER legend Robbie Keane and his wife have won a €340,000 legal fight to kick an elderly woman out of their €4.4million family home.
The former Spurs and Ireland striker and Claudine were in a dispute with 74-year-old fashion boss Sandi St Paul and her “pal” Stewart Lawrence, after renting out the mansion in Hertfordshire in December 2019.
The rift started when Ms St Paul and Mr Lawrence – who was a drummer for 60s icon Donovan – stopped paying rent in April 2020.
This week, the Keanes told Central London County Court the pair owe them €340,000 in back rent, adding Mrs Keane, 42, had been reduced to tears and “begging” for access to her home during the row.
Ms St Paul, who is also a property developer, told Judge Heather Baucher the pair withheld the €9,200 a month after being left with “no heating or hot water for two winters”.
She further claimed the stress led to her having a stroke.
EVICTED
But the judge has now ordered her out of the house – on pain of being evicted by High Court sheriffs – and handed her and Mr Lawrence a bill for €340,000 rent arrears, plus €81,000 towards Mr and Mrs Keane’s legal fees.
The court heard the Keanes rented out their home in late 2019 after he began coaching at Middlesbrough FC, and with the Irish national team under Mick McCarthy.
The gated five-bedroom property in Hadley Wood boasts extensive gardens and a cinema room.
